AALOO PUDI ( POTATO PUDI )


All over the world potatoes are used very commonly, so in India. With potatoes we make so many types of dishes. Pudi is a most popular dish item of India. Pudis are made of many types here I am telling you about pudi made with potato.

INGREDIENTS-
1. About 400 grams potato boiled and peeled
2. About 300 grams wheat flour (atta)
3. Pure ghee or cooking oil for deep frying
4. About 100 grams ginger (adrakh)
5. About 100 grams coriander leaves
6. Green chilies to taste
7. Coriander powder 3 tsp
8. Cumin seeds 1 to 2 tsp
9. Black pepper powder 2 tsp

PROCESS-
1. Mix item nos. 4 to 9 and make a paste.
2. Finely crush the potatoes and mix well paste in it.
3. Add wheat flour in it and mix very well, make a hard dough, if required use very little water.
4. Make raw pudis of it, of about 30 grams each, to a thickness of about 9 mm.
5. Deep fry in a frying pan in little cooking medium 2 to 5 pieces at a time.
6. Serve them hot with curd, tomato sauce, chutneys, pickles, etc.
